August 21 7 New Pictures UpMan, life is so busy these days. I hardly have time to think. The majority of my free time is being taken up by marathon training. Luckily we (my wife and I) only have 7 weeks to go. I've added some photos from the recent months. I will also update my movies as I've seen a number since the last update. Some were good (Saving Grace, V for Vendetta), some were not (Superman Returns)... June 13 New Pictures Up!Yaaaaa! The new rollout has allowed me to upload pictures. Whew, I've been a bit busy in the weeks I couldn't upload, so there are a number of them. Enjoy! May 14 Trouble updating picturesSorry I haven't been able to update pictures in a while. I updated to Internet Explorer 7.0 Beta 2 and, lo and behold, MSN Spaces is not compatible. That seems to drip with irony. Anyway, I can't upload new pictures until someone gets something figured out. March 30 175,000 page viewsSome time in the early morning we passed 175,000 page views for this blog. Thanks to everybody who has stopped by. Hope you found something to enjoy or think about! October 12 It's been a whileSorry about the lack of posts. I've been busy taking my medical board exams. Phew! I'm happy to have it over now. I've got a few movies waiting, including an Indian film called Taal recommended to me by a patient. I'll post a review as soon as possible. August 24 150,000 page viewsOk, this is going to be the last one of these until 200,000 (which will be a long, long time). Hooray for us! I'm really pretty amazed that this blog a) somehow got picked by What's Your Story and b) has maintained popularity. Go figure. Hope it will continue well into the future. July 08 140,000 page views and countingJust passed 140,000 page views. Perhaps these little announcements are self-serving, but I do like to feel like part of a little community. Even after the huge 10 days of being a "featured site" we still get 600-800 hits a week. Yaaa.

I am also returning my regular photography portfolio to the default position. You can still view pictures from yellowstone, but you have to click on the album (of course you knew that already)... June 25 I have arrivedWell, after 2911 miles I have arrived at my new home in Camas, Washington. I had many adventures on the way and am very, very excited to see some of the pics I have taken (downloading as we speak). This is just to let people know I am back and will soon upload some of the pictures. I think I'll share them 2-3 at a time instead of inundating people all at once. I also plan on writing up some anecdotes from the cross-country trip, but right now my kids demand my attention. Until then! June 17 Entering Radio SilenceOK, well, the house is empty and I have no computer at home. I am writing this from work, but won't be in over the weekend. I'll send a parting shot on Monday and then it's incommunicado from Tuesday to Sunday while I drive from Pittsburgh to Camas, WA. Hopefully I'll have some nice pictures on the other end... June 08 Moving Moving MovingI apologize for entries being so sporatic. We are starting the move across the country and things like packing have been taking more and more of my time. I hope to still blog once or twice a week, but it will be less than usual for the month of June. One good thing will be a stop at Yellowstone while I drive one of our cars over. I'm hoping for lots of good pictures while there and while travelling the I-90. Here's hoping for good weather... May 09 100,000 hits.Geez, this is getting ridiculous. Thanks for all the visits and comments. I still hope to be able to provide some small meal in a day where our culture only serves up tripe and junk food. I'm sure this site will soon return to being haunted by only my neighbors and friends, but until then, I have enjoyed being part of the larger world and hearing comments from other cultures and places. Mostly it is a forum to display pictures from my favorite hobby...umm...taking pictures. I'm hoping to update this site at least weekly though with what's been going on, lists of trivial interest, or anything else wandering around in my mind. Perhaps blogging is the ultimate sign of narcissism. Does everybody else really want to know what I'm thinking? I'm still getting used to the format, but I believe you can comment in the blog. Let me know you came with a reply! I'd love to hear from old friends and new. If you are really crazy about any of my pictures, I can arrange to have them printed and framed for you at a very reasonable cost. Most of the pictures will enlarge well to even 20"x24".
